Level 2: Punches & Defenses

Learn how to use your fist in real life self defense, and defenses against your opponent's strikes

2 Days focused on learning how to defend and to deliver Punches, with real-life combinations and integrating punches with other body strikes

Also, we focus on how to defend against the strikes we have mastered in boot camp level 1. 

Level 2: Punches & Defenses
Jab Cross Uppercut Hook
Overhead punch
Vertical Punch
45 Degrees downward to the stomach

Hammer Fist - Reverse Hammer fist

Defenses
360 Block and strike
Defense against Hook/Hail maker
Defense Against Uppercut
Short defenses against a straight punch
Defenses against straight punch outside with takedown
Defense against straight punch inside
Rhino Defense attack
Elbow destruction
Hitting the hand
Dirty Boxing break knuckles
Slap fists down
Elbow breaking
Head defense
Defending against punch with sliding parry from under uppercut, hook, liver shot, round kick
Defending against punch with sliding parry from the top and takedown
Dodges Side to sides

Dodges Diagonal front

Dodges Backward

Dodges Circular
Transverse Kick against boxer
Defense against Knee strike
Defense against Headbutt
Defense against elbows
Rush Drill

Combinations

1) Boxer 1
Jab Cross dodge circular Hook Uppercut Knee strike

2) Headbutt against punch with arms down
Stomp on foot, head butt to chest and shoulder strike

3) 4 strikes combo Send him to bathroom
Punch to bladder (45 degrees from top to down)
Strike to the windpipe with web strike, knife of hand or punch
Hammer fist face finish with knee to groin

4) Fake Jab
Fake Jab, surprise uppercut, hook, knee strike

5) 4 punches Combo
Solar plexus vertical punch – stomach upper cut – hook head – liver shot

6) Against Boxer 1
Drop guard - Elbow strike front – Solar Plexus - neck - Palm Strike - Knee strike

7) Against Boxer 2

Drop guard– side Strike Elbow – Knife hand throat - Vertical Punch solar plexus – Palm strike face - Knee Strike to groin

8) Arms trapped and Head butt

9) 3 Strikes 1 arm
Fake Jab – Straight stomach - Reverse hand strike or palm strike

10) Total Confusion
Upper jab – Low vertical punch – up Right hook – low Left kick
11) Fake Round Kick
Fake round kick change guard and straight punch – opposite leg low kick

12) Throat Strike set up
Palm strike to face – Punch to throat – Knee strike
13) Defense against linear punch with side choke
Deflect with wrist stepping towards dead side of your opponent, strike with inside forearm and control with choke

14) Block – Check - Strike
Palm block – Check with back of the other hand - Vertical punch above opponent's arm

15) Transverse Kick against boxer
Transverse kick, palm strikes 1 and 2, hammer fist, knee strike

16) Fainted Lower hook
Faint a lower hook to the body, change and deliver hook to the head, followed by forearm strike to neck and knee.

17) Fake jab, 180 degrees elbow
Fake a jab, rotate and deliver elbow strike to face, followed up by elbow to body, groin grab and take down
18) Fake jab, 180 degrees elbow
Fake a jab, rotate and deliver elbow strike to face, followed up by elbow to body, groin grab and take down

19) 3 Strikes 1 arm
Fake Jab – Straight stomach - Reverse hand strike or palm strike
