The goal is of this 5 hours hands on practical training workshop is to develop life saving skills for every personnel working in a school or campus, like docents, janitors, administration personnel anyone who works on the campus. These skills are aimed to increase the chances to save lives during a violent mass shooting scenario.  The workshop is based on 4 areas of focus:   A) FIREARMS SAFETY & OPERATIONS Learning Gun Safety and How Guns Operate to neutralized them Knowing gun safety is a must in case any staff will ever will find a firearm on campus, in case you need to handle it until law enforcement will arrive to secure it. We will focus also on learning how most common firearms work and how to neutralize them during a violent confrontation.  Focus on: handgun Semi-auto, AR rifle platform, AK Rifle Platform For safety reasons and for compliance with laws, will use all training replicas that cannot fire any live ammunition.  B) DETER The focus on this segment is to create layers of security that can discourage potential mass shooters in picking your school as a potential target and develop situational awareness and learning the foundation of Behavioral Detection among all the campus staff followed by a simple but effective SOP (Security Operating Procedures). Most of the process will be discussed and approved with the Principal and executive staff first.  C) AVOID When the violence starts, the first goal of the docents and campus personnel is to avoid contact with the attacker while at the same time to shield the students. We will focus on techniques in how to use the advantage of cover and concealment and how to harden your classroom and every room of the campus even with basic daily items.    Also a basic preparation in bleeding control and basic items to have ready in case of emergency and how to use them.  D) FIGHT BACK When no other option is given, and the attack is imminent, different from other programs, our goal is that we will fight back with everything we have. From the core principle of Israeli Krav-Maga combat system, the best defense is to attack when no other option is available. The focus of this segment is to create practical skills with simple drills in how to neutralize one or more attackers that will attempt to enter a class or engage innocents in a open space.  We will focus on the following skills a) Developing Combat Mindset b) Using weapons of opportunity c) Principles of Defense against firearms d) 3 Fundamentals Distractions techniques before the attack e) Preparing the Ambush in your classroom f) How to take down and neutralize the attacker with just 2 people    The value of this workshop training is $1500.00 but is FREE of charge to your school because of the generous contribution of our private sponsors.
